Chubb Makes Senior Appointment In Asia

Global insurer has appointed Jason Keen as head of property and casualty for the Asia-Pacific region. He takes over from Paul McNamee, who will assume a new role as regional president in the final three months of 2016. The firm, which operates worldwide, has around 31,000 employees.
Keen will have overall management responsibility for Chubb's commercial property and casualty business across the region. This includes property and terrorism, energy, construction, casualty, financial lines, surety, environmental, small and medium sized enterprises, marine and custom industry solutions. In his new capacity, he will report to McNamee.
Keen was formerly head of property for Chubb in the region, a position he retained after ACE's acquisition of Chubb in January 2016. He joined ACE in 2010 as regional property underwriter and was promoted to head of property and casualty for Singapore. Keen has experience as an underwriter at Lloyds in London and North America.
Among other developments, in the US, Chubb in May rolled out a new suite of insurance products focused on professional and management liability exposures for US family offices.
